Associate - Intellectual Property

Our client seeks an Intellectual Property attorney with three to five years of experience in patent prosecution, including interviewing inventors, drafting patent applications, conducting patent examiner interviews, and drafting responses to Office Actions. Preferred candidates also will have trademark prosecution experience. Applicants must be registered to practice before the United States Patent Office, have a desire to work in a large law firm environment, and preferably have a degree in or work experience with electrical engineering, computer science, physics, aeronautical engineering, and/or e-commerce. The position offers an opportunity for significant responsibility, and provides for direct client contact. Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills, including technical writing, and a strong work ethic. Arizona Bar admission strongly preferred.
